Competitive & Workflow Analysis
While Abbott's software grew in both capability and functionality, its performance and user experience relative to competitors remained unclear.
To clarify this, I conducted a competitive analysis to assess how Abbott's software measures up against other solutions on the market.
Project Goals
-
Understand Abbott's software functionality compared to competitors
-
Identify strengths, weakness and opportunities
-
Provide usability recommendations

Key Insights
-
Allowed apples-to-apples workflow comparison
-
Identified inefficiencies in workflow
-
Highlighted potential errors and opportunities for improvement
Usability Case Studies
A usability case study is an in-depth analysis of how real users interact with system in stimulated like environment. A variety of users were from different demographics and experience were recruited to demonstrate stimulated use with the same scenarios and similar test setup with both Abbott and competitor systems.
