About Me

It's kinda a funny story....

Originally, I wanted to become a therapist because of my passion for assisting others and my deep-rooted interest in psychology. However, I discovered that even therapists seek their own therapists, and my enthusiasm waned when I struggled with maintaining emotional detachment. This realization led me to reconsider my career path.

Uncertain about the future, I stumbled into the wrong class called "Human Factors and Ergonomics," and after 10 minutes after lecture started I realizing I was in the wrong class. I panicked and feeling too embarrassed to leave, I decided to stay......

Surprisingly, I discovered that Human Factors and Ergonomics (HFE) is the study of how people interact with product, technology and systems and the practice is applying our understanding of human capabilities and limitations to what we create. I distinctly recall thinking, "Is this a real profession? A profession that seamlessly fuses my three passions: psychology, design, and engineering?

I decided to pursue this as my chosen profession.

Initially, I believed my passion for this profession stemmed from its alignment with my three interests. However, it was only later that I recognized it was the actual practice and execution of creating and shaping products that truly motivated me each morning.

It wasn't until I conducted my first test and observed someone benefiting from a safe and valuable product that I realized what truly inspired me was crafting such products. This realization underscored the importance of starting with the individual when striving to create a product that is both safe and valuable.

Witnessing someone utilize a product that I had contributed to, enhancing their life, instilled in me an undeniable drive to spring out of bed each day.
